Well, every day Coco asks "Can we do Jingle Bells today pleeeeease?" So we'll just go ahead and get that out of the way today.
We recorded our song right after school/work, and my intent was to run some errands and then do a post and some shop listings...that was my intent anyway.
First, I had to drop something by my friend's house "real quickly"... but there was a fire in the hearth, and wine quickly in my hand...and the children disappeared and were content with each other's company - as were the adults. There was also a four pound meatloaf in the oven, and there was bacon in that meatloaf....so chatting led to dinner, and dinner led to dessert, and dessert led to a coffee for the road with egg nog instead of half and half.
And so, here I sit. So grateful for the beautiful people in my life. So grateful for pure love and friendship. Tis the season to enjoy each other - so please don't rush anything too quickly. Sit by the fire. Sip a glass of wine. Let dinner lead to dessert and beyond. Soak in every minute of this Christmas with those that you love!
